Spanish partner of BOOMER Project successfully conducts digital literacy training for seniors in Málaga

As part of the BOOMER Project's ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide and promote social inclusion for seniors, Internet Web Solutions (ES) recently held three successful training sessions in Málaga. These sessions, held on 16 April, 14 June, and 16 July 2024, saw the enthusiastic participation of local seniors and other stakeholders eager to enhance their digital skills.

With a total of 29 participants across the three sessions—9 on 16 April, 10 on 14 June, and 10 on 16 July—these training events were designed to address the specific needs of elderly individuals in an increasingly digital world. The BOOMER Project aims to equip seniors with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate digital platforms confidently, thereby fostering greater social inclusion and active participation in everyday life.

The training sessions were highly interactive, with participants expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to learn in a supportive and understanding environment.

The success of these sessions reflects the BOOMER Project's commitment to fostering digital literacy among seniors, empowering them to stay connected and engaged in an increasingly digital society. The Spanish partner in Málaga continues to play a vital role in this mission, ensuring that seniors in the region are not left behind in the digital age.
